And is cheaper to run than you'd think.
Modern AC heats and cools, runs on a fraction of the cost of resistive heating, and installs in 1-2 days. We don't sell, we survey - the person who quotes you is the person who installs it.
If you're an existing Denver customer, you're getting first call on May and June survey slots before we open this up more widely. Last summer the diary filled up faster than we could expand it, so this year we're coming to you first.
If you only read one section of this page, read this one. It's the same three points on the back of the flyer, and it's how we run every survey.
Our priority is your satisfaction with the work we do. If AC isn't the right call for your home, we'll tell you straight.
No "from £X" pricing. No surprise extras. The number on your quote is the number you pay.
Modern AC heats and cools. Run the numbers against your gas bill before you write it off as a luxury.
Every homeowner considering AC has heard the same six worries. Here's the honest version of each.
Twenty years ago, fair enough - we had three weeks of warm weather a year. We've now had four 30°C+ summers in five years and the trend is going one way. AC is the only system that solves both ends of the year on one install: cooling in summer, lower-cost heating in winter.
Modern indoor units are flat and white and fit on a wall above head height. Outdoor units sit at the side or back of the property. We design placement during the survey and you sign it off before we install a thing.
The systems we install aren't really "air conditioning" in the old sense - they're air-to-air heat pumps with a cooling mode. In heating mode, running cost is roughly half what your gas boiler is doing per kWh of heat delivered. A SCOP of around 4 on a modern unit means £1 of electricity gives you roughly £4 of heat. Against resistive electric heating, the gap is wider still. In summer, cooling a typical living room costs pennies per hour. We can run real numbers for your specific house at the survey.
A modern indoor unit is about as loud as a quiet fan. Outdoor units are about as loud as a fridge. We'll show you the dB rating of the exact units we'd use during the survey.
One small core hole per indoor unit, about 65mm. That's it. No wet pipework, no floors lifted.
Most homeowners we install for stay seven years or more. If you genuinely think you'll move in the next two, we'll tell you it's probably not the right call - and we'll suggest what is.
Five steps, kept simple. Most AC pages drown in detail here. We won't.
About 45 minutes on site. We measure rooms, check your power supply, agree where indoor and outdoor units would go.
Plain English. Total cost, breakdown by room, expected running costs, what's included.
No pressure. No follow-up calls unless you ask for them.
One to two days for most homes. We protect floors, clean up, and walk you through the controls.
Parts and labour, depending on the system you choose. We're MCS, F-Gas and Gas Safe registered. Annual checks available.
By telling you when AC won't work, we earn the right to tell you when it will.
As the owner of Denver Services my priority is your satisfaction with the work we do. If AC isn't the right call for your home, we'll tell you straight - I'd rather lose a sale than lose a customer by installing something that won't do the job. Same goes for the quote: a fixed price, in writing, with no surprise extras when we turn up. That's how we've always done it, and it's why most of our work comes from existing customers like you.

The most useful next step is a free survey. We'll measure properly, talk through your goals, and put a fixed price in writing within 48 hours. There's no obligation.
We're a family business and we'll give you a straight answer - even if that answer is "AC isn't the right call for your home."

"Well done job. Danny the fitter came on the arranged day and did a really good job. Kept fully informed and cleaned up every day. Would use again."

Practical questions only. No padding.
About 45 minutes. We measure rooms, check the power supply, agree where indoor and outdoor units would go, and answer your questions on the spot.
Almost always, yes. The main constraint is finding a sensible run for the small refrigerant pipe between the indoor unit and the outdoor unit. We'll work that out on the survey.
Most homes are 1 to 2 days. We protect floors, work room by room, and clean up. There's no wet pipework and no floors lifted.
5 to 7 years on parts and labour, depending on the system you choose. We're MCS, F-Gas and Gas Safe registered. We also offer annual servicing to keep the warranty valid.
Simple. One annual visit, takes about 45 minutes per unit, keeps the warranty valid and the system efficient.
You don't need to decide anything today. The first step is a free survey. We'll tell you whether AC is right for your home, what it would cost, and what it would save you. If it's not the right call for you, we'll tell you that too.
